Which Tower kit?
Every kit starts with the same 3/16" steel Pyro Tower — the difference is what arrives in the boxes with it. Pick by what you want to cook (or just burn); casters and the storage cover can be added to any kit except the Complete Kit, whose pedestal base replaces them.

Prices shown reflect today's sale. The Monolith — our widest tower — and the seasonal Father's Day kit are separate products.
The Complete Kit is every cooking and fire mode we make, in one order. Standing nearly six feet tall on its storage pedestal, it arrives with both doors, both screens, the grill gear, the shelf and the rack — fire tonight, charcoal tomorrow, pizza this weekend.

Swap modes, not equipment
Every mode is a piece that sets in place: the thermometer top door and vented bottom door close the chambers into ovens, the grate and charcoal basket make it a grill, and the fire screen and spark arrestor tame it for an evening burn. The pedestal base stores the pieces you are not using and replaces the caster option — this one is built to stand in its spot and own it.

Built to be the last one you buy
Every Pyro Tower is laser-cut from 3/16" hot-rolled American steel in Mulberry, Kansas — plate thick enough to hold heat and shrug off full-load fires, year after year. Tab-and-slot panels self-align and assemble with the included stainless hardware, the pyramid shape makes it nearly impossible to tip, and the bare steel weathers to a deep working patina. It is fully warranted to the original owner for the lifetime of the product.
What ships with this kit
The Complete kit ships every cooking and fire-management part we make for the Tower — both doors (thermometer top + vented bottom), fire screen, spark arrestor, grill grate, charcoal basket, vent louver, removable shelf and firewood rack — plus the storage pedestal it stands on.
Round it out
The one thing not in the boxes is weather protection — the custom-fit Tower covers are cut and sewn in-house in Kansas.

FAQ
What size firewood should I use in my Pyro Tower?
The Pyro Tower is designed to use common firewood that is usually around 16" in lenght. You can also stack pieces bonfire-style to get larger pieces of wood in the Tower.
Can I use the Pyro Tower on a wood or composite deck?
Yes, the Pyro Tower can safely be used on wood and composite decks. We do recommend that you use the Fire Screen and Spark Arrestors to prevent any wayward embers from escaping, and you should never leave a fire unattended. If burning in the bottom chamber of the Pyro Tower on a composite deck, you should use a fire-safe mat below the tower, however; the top chamber can be used safely without one.
Can I buy other Pyro Tower accessories at a later date?
Yes, all of the accessories available for the Pyro Tower can be purchased separately and you can mix and match parts to suit your specific needs.
Is the Pyro Tower safer than a traditional fire pit?
In our opinion, yes, it is much safer than an open fire pit. Our lead product designer actually had this thought in mind when designing the first Pyro Tower to use around his own family. Having the fire contained on three sides still allows for plenty of warmth while keeping the pets and kids from getting singed from an open fire - which actually happened to a labrador too eager to get pet one night and wasn't paying attention to the open fire behind his tail...
How hot does the Pyro Tower get?
We get this question a lot, and there's really no way to answer that accurately. The temperature varies greatly depending on the type, quantity, and quality of wood that is being burned. We recommend seasoned hardwood for the highest temperatures and cleanest burns. We describe the heat the tower puts off as a gentle warmth covering an area vs. a searing blast of heat from an open fire pit.
Does the Pyro Tower get hot on all sides?
While the Pyro Tower may only have an opening on the front, it gets plenty warm on all four sides. Our in-house testing has revealed that, on a 32 degree night with no wind, the Tower warms a 36" radius to the high 80's on the sides and rear and the mid 90's directly in front.
How often do I need to oil my Pyro Tower?
The Pyro Tower is unique in that you can choose to keep it's original shiny black finsih or you can opt to allow it to naturally patina to a deep brownish red color over time.
If you wish to preserve the look of the Pyro Tower’s original appearance then it will be necessary to periodically inspect and reapply the oil as it will degrade over time. Simply clean the Pyro Tower with a dry cloth or warm water if necessary. Allow to dry completely. Use a staining pad or cloth rag to apply a very thin layer of food-safe polymerized linseed oil to all surfaces. Thoroughly buff when done to remove excess oil to prevent a gummy finish. The entire process can be completed in less than five minutes.
The frequency which you should oil your Pyro Tower varies greatly depending on temperature, precipitation, humidity, and the reason that you are oiling it in the first place. Places that are more damp year-round, such as those on the coast, will require more frequent oiling to maintain the steel finish of the Pyro Tower, should you choose to do that.
We also provide optional custom fitting covers to add an additional layer of protection and reduce the frequency of maintenance required.
